Engagement is a measure of how actively an audience interacts with an artist's content — including likes, comments, shares, saves, and streams — used to gauge fan connection and campaign effectiveness.

Engagement measures how actively an audience interacts with an artist’s content, rather than just being exposed to it.

While reach and impressions show how many people saw content, engagement shows how many people responded through actions. High engagement relative to reach is the strongest indicator that an audience is genuinely connected, not just passively viewing.
